Hey, it is your friendly bandleader. I think the Wii has done remarkably well. One sign is that there are absolutely no Wii's sitting on any store shelfs. In fact any shipment of Wii's is sold within one day of arrival. I believe the Wii has so much success is because it is fun machine for all gamers, even including the most casual of gamers. Also the cheap price of the Wii helps sales. I have some experience with the Wii and enjoy all my time using it. I do however think there could be more done with games. Some games just fell short for me. For example, Tiger Woods, I liked playing it on the Wii, but they removed some cool features that were available on the Xbox (my only Tiger Woods experience prior to the Wii). I just think some games could have used the wiimotes better and more logically.
Friday, June 22, 2007 at 2:23:00 PM CDTOverall I definitely give the Wii an 8 on a 1 to 10 scale. The remarkable sales and game development are amazing. But I feel there needs to be some changes with new games and make the use of the wiimotes more practical, logical, and fun.
